Metallurgical control begins with selecting only the finest quality scrap and pig iron. We continually work with our suppliers to ensure material meet our quality standards. Our In-house metallurgical process controls include Spectrometer analysis, Carbon Equivalent, nodularity counts 100% on all Ductile Iron, temperature monitoring at both tap out and pour, and BHN hardness. If requested by our customer, we can provide complete chemical and material certification

Staffed Metallurgist
Metallographic preparation equipment.
Metallurgical microscope for microstructural evaluation of every-day-heats.
Brinell hardness tester.
Spectro LAB spectrometer
Chemical and mechanical Certification to ASTM Standards.

Sand Testing Lab
Our Sand Testing Lab offers facilities and procedures to perform sand tests including:
Loss On Ignition
Moisture
Green Compression
Tensile Strength
Process Contriol
